I did a lot of research on cordless phones and was careful to get the one that was best for my needs. This one is certainly it. It is very easy to use but has a lot of features you don't get with most phones. Not only does it have the caller ID/call waiting feature, but you can transfer calls to another handset, talk on the intercom to another handset, and add up to 10 handsets. This is very useful when you have teenagers in the house! Another feature that I didn't expect but am very pleased with is the fact that you do not need a phone cord for the extra handsets. You plug them into a regular wall outlet and they work as normally as a phone with a phone cord. The key is to keep it within the base unit's range, which seems to extend quite a bit. I am EXTREMELY pleased with this Uniden phone from Wallmart and would recommend it to anyone.
